What will I be doing?

Campers will be involved in three interactive, hands-on workshops Monday through Thursday. The workshops you will be assigned to will depend on what you request on the registration form. Each day you'll be learning something within the topic of your workshops and doing activities with a maximum of 22 students per workshop. However, camp is not only about the academics. There is plenty of opportunity for play.

The Cougar Quest experience is also balanced with various social and recreational evening activities. On Monday you will have the opportunity to visit the WSU bookstore (The Bookie) and Ferdinand's Ice Cream Shoppe on campus with your hall group. Treat yourself to some WSU gear or ice cream, or both! Besides these two venues you have the chance to visit some of the museums and departments on campus. A popular musem to visit is The Connor Museum. See all the animals there and take a picture with a moose if you'd like.

Besides the Monday tour, there is an evening activity each day of camp. You will be able to try out the award-winning Student Recreation Center, experience Martin Stadium from the field instead of the bleachers, play at Rodgers Practice Field (where the WSU football team practices), and more. These social times are a chance for you to meet new people; talk to your counselor, gain insight into college life and WSU, and develop lasting friendships.
