203: The Ins and Outs of a Field Reporter
Come be a field reporter for a week and learn to use a camera and edit your piece, just like it would go on the nightly news. See a project from start to finish when you generate ideas for a video project, learn how to operate both a studio camera and field camera, tape the video, and put the project together on the professional AVID video editing system. Get a TV studio tour and see all the work that goes on behind the scenes that you don't see on the news. Operate other pieces of studio equipment besides the cameras and get a feel for the field of broadcast production. The equipment you'll be using is broadcast-quality and you will get a DVD copy of your project to show off at the end. |
