Jacob Hughes hails from Finley Washington, and holds two bachelor's degrees, one in Anthropology and the other in History, both from WSU.Having wandered listlessly into the Halls of Avery, he is now working on an M.A. in English Literature.
He has taught Anthropology, English Composition, and Lord of the Rings creative writing classes. Forever doomed to roam academe, Hughes will continue to pursue his interests in warfare, monsters, Shakespeare authorship, and Tolkien. He is especially interested in how repressed fears and anxieties manifest themselves in cultural texts.
While not reading or writing, Jacob likes to read, write, listen, eat, play guitar/keyboards/didgeridoo/ oboe/drums/bagpipes/mandolin in whatever musical setting he can, and a plethora of other lucrative activities.
Incidentally, he has a habit of writing about himself in the third person. All great writers do. He is often seen typing "there is no 'I' in 'me'".
